How it works

Four simple steps

01

Request a visit

Send an appointment request through the contact form or call the office. We will confirm a time and confirm that a virtual visit is appropriate.

02

Join from anywhere private

You will receive a secure link before your appointment. A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a stable connection is all you need.

03

Talk it through

Visits follow the same structure as an in-person appointment: review, discussion, and a clear plan for next steps.

04

Afterwards

Notes, referrals, and any prescriptions are handled after the visit, and follow-up appointments can be scheduled the same way.

Virtual visits can be a good fit when…

  • Travel to Bloomington or Indianapolis is difficult or time-consuming.
  • You need a routine follow-up rather than a hands-on examination.
  • Work, school, or caregiving makes daytime office visits hard to keep.
  • You prefer discussing mental health or recovery from a familiar, private space.

Before your visit

Visits take place on a secure platform intended for clinical use. Choose a quiet location where you feel comfortable speaking, and use headphones if others are nearby.

Eligibility and the services available by telehealth vary by individual needs and location. Some concerns require an in-person visit, lab work, or a physical examination — if that is the case, we will tell you and help arrange it.

This site is not for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For free, confidential crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988, available 24 hours a day.
